It´s pretty bad at this point in time. Not only is it extremely slow, but also does it produce a ton of noise. The only reason I still use it probably is, that Dirt 2.0 didn´t fit on one of my three SSDs. This HDD was terrible ten years ago and it still is. Get an SSD instead. Like the 970 Evo Plus.
