Slow, runs at 100% constantly Very clearly the bottleneck in the laptop it came in. I've wanted to replace it for years and finally will do so soon.

The disk is at 100% usage all the time. It's so slow, it causes system instability. Windows freezes up and applications crash. Cannot even open task manager. This laptop (ASUS TUF Gaming FX504GD) is the worst tech purchase I have ever made.

Terrible

I bought a laptop with this drive in it, returned the first one and the replacement has been doing the same thing. Runs at 100% randomly for extended periods and slows to a crawl regularly. Piece of junk.

Terrible

Not my best buy. On a (quite) cluttered system (2/3 to 3/4 of the disk full) on a mainstream laptop (with an Intel i3 CPU), I saw no difference between this and my preview built-in HGST 5K1000, it disappointed me. It's only after a few months of still no good latency and speed that I saw that this model, even if it's widely used, is not better than a classic 7200 rpm hard drive.

Poor

It generates more heat than SSDs and slower than 7200 rpm HDDs! When it's used as an external drive, it sometimes lose our precious data! You're fired, FireCuda!

Disk started mulfunctioning 3 times in a year

This SSHD came with my ASUS TufFX504 laptop. And its absolutely slow. I'm looking for an upgrade
