Seagate Never failed me up to now, I used 2To, 4To, now I have this 8 To paired with a Samsung 970 EVO pro and everything is doing as expected. I put 4 stars because it's a bit old and running of course smoother than a SSD, but for keeping datas, it does the job.

8TB of storage space at $150 sounded more like an excellent deal, maybe one of the highest value HDD you can get today especially if you want to store a lot of games, videos, project files, etc. This HDD has slower read/write compared to other HDD at same capacity but that's not a big deal for 8TB HDD at that price.
